A Stingray snorkel trip is often the highlight of any trip to the Cayman Islands. We would like to offer guests and their families the opportunity to enjoy this unique experience of touching and feeding a Stingray, together with snorkelling amongst magnificent coral heads with colourful tropical fish. The Stingray Sand bar is located in the shallow waters of the northwest corner of Grand Cayman's North Sound. It's just inside a natural channel that passes through the barrier reef. The Sandbar is lots of fun and suitable for everyone. Standing in only three feet of water you can find yourself surrounded by more than two dozen "tame" Atlantic Southern Stingrays that enjoy the company of humans. The animals are free to come and go as they choose, and they choose to be there because they hope that you might just come and feed them!

We will be sailing to the Sandbar via a 56 foot luxury catamaran across the North South. Refreshments and snacks will be available throughout the morning and complimentary snorkelling gear is available for all guests to use. Although the catamaran offers shade from the sun on a lower deck, we recommend all guests bring suntan lotion and wear a hat and t-shirt whilst on the top deck.

Timing:	Please meet the Maples representative in the Ritz-Carlton foyer at 8:30am for coach transfer to the Catamaran for 9:00am. Return transfer to the hotel will be provided, arriving back around 12.30pm.
